Submitted to Guster.net by Sara 03-24-2002 The BackYard, BeeCave (Austin)Texas Guster started playing when it was still very light outside so the lights had little effect until later. Many of the people at the show came to just see John Mayer which is pretty sad considering they missed the best parts of the show. Ryan started the show off with a nice big "Beunos Noches" and the band started playing. All the Guster Fans were singing right along and the others picked up the words quickly; It was a nice energy filled sing along. One lady in her late 40's was standing by me dancing to the music. Brain, the holy ThunderGod was playing wonderfully but he picked up drum sticks for a song or two. The played all the big songs and added a "Deep in the Heart of Texas".
