Submitted to Guster.net by Jordan Harris 10-20-2003 Foellinger Auditorium, Champaign, IL I went to the Guster show last night at the University of Illinois. It was a great show and even ended with thundergod doing a solo of total eclipse of the heart. Personally, I wish they would have ended with a Guster classic instead of a funny song like that. Putting the fact that they are a great live band aside, there were just too many songs not played last night that I had been dying to hear live. Just to name a few.....Center of Attention, Rocketship, Medicine, Parachute, Window, and Two Points. I mean these are key songs that I love singing along to. I wish they would have played at least some of those. I understand that they have to play their new stuff a lot, and I appreciate that. But please, I wish they didn't leave out so many of my favorites.
