Le Cabaret, Montreal, Quebec

This was hands down one of the greatest concerts I've ever been to. Though the club was unbelievably tiny (to the point that Ryan verbally marvelled at the size), the venue was completely packed. The song selection was virtually flawless, with the band mostly playing the best songs off their Keep it Together CD (ie. Amsterdam, Homecoming King, Diane etc...). They didn't leave out any fan favorites from previous albums, like Demons, Barrel, Fa Fa, and they even responded to the audiences requests for a rare performance of Two Points. The highlight of the night would have to be the unplugged version of Jesus on the Radio. Each song was played to its full potential, and if you ask me they were even better live than on the CD. Compared to the only other Guster concert I've been to, in September at le Spectrum, although that show was amazing as well, it didn't hold a candle to this one. Ryan spoke french (of course) and mocked his bandmates, and it being such a small club he really interacted with the audience.
What a show.
